Lyon Kennedy has worked as a professional writer since 2000. He currently works at NYU in East Greenwich Village, NYC. 

He was raised in the Philadelphia region, the 11th of 13 children. After two years of college, he became a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. Later, he graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. 

After the Berlin Wall fell, Lyon worked in Germany as an English teacher for German businesses; While there, he passed the fluency test to study at German universities.
